JAAF SUPPORTS CAPIZ NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL’S DEAR FRIDAY

J. Amado Araneta Foundation President, Mrs. Judy A. Roxas, supported the Drop Everything and Read Friday Program of Capiz National High School.  Early today, one hundred twenty (120) copies of the young adult Hiligaynon novelette, “Ang Hangaway kag ang Higante were turned over to the School.

Mrs. Roxas and JAAF were represented by Paolo Roxas during the turnover ceremony at Capiz National High School Website.  With Paolo, seated from left in the group photo were Capiz BM Thea Faith Reyes, Principal Charlie Bagas, and book author and Roxas City Tourism Officer, Bryan Mari Argos.

“We hope that the books will jumpstart the Grade 8 Students’ interest in reading and their enthusiasm for local literature.    May the humble donation of Mrs. Roxas and JAAF enhance the literary program of the School,” Paolo Roxas was quoted as saying to the students, teachers, and staff of CNHS.
